An awareness workshop on socio-psychological reform was held at the Manmunai West Divisional Secretariat on 10.03.2026 at the Divisional Secretariat Conference Hall under the leadership of Divisional Secretary Mrs Namasivayam Sathiyanandhi.
Psychologist Mr K Aruljothi, Rural Development Officer, Divisional Secretariat Officers and members of Women Rural Development Associations participated in this awareness workshop.
It is noteworthy that this awareness workshop was organized with the aim of enlightening the members of the Women Village Development Associations about the psychological problems that arise in the community due to social problems such as child marriage, suicide attempts, illegal alcohol use and sale, and about practical measures to reduce them in the Manmunai West Divisional Secretariat Division.
