A divisional-level exhibition organized by the Eastern Province Department of Rural Development and the Manmunai West Divisional Secretariat was held on April 23, 2026, at the Vavunatheevu Women’s Development Training Center.
The event, led by a rural development officer and supported by instructors and students, featured handicrafts, sewing products, home-based goods, and food items made by women trainees and entrepreneurs.
Attended by several officials as chief, guest, and special invitees, the exhibition highlighted women’s creativity and skills while promoting entrepreneurship, self-employment, and socio-economic empowerment.
