Under the "Culture of Integrity – Clean Sri Lanka" national project, with the objective of ensuring an honest and transparent public service, a new system was launched on 17.08.2026 at 8:00 AM at the Manmunai West Divisional Secretariat under the leadership of the Divisional Secretary, Mrs. Sathiyananthi Namasivayam. This new system records officers providing services to the public while remaining within their duty sections or office premises based on the Global Positioning System (GPS).
This system serves as an important initiative that strengthens the duty time discipline of public officers while further ensuring accountability, transparency, and the delivery of an honest public service.
The Accountant, Administrative Officer, Administrative Officer for Grama Niladharis, and many other office staff participated in this event and extended their cooperation toward the implementation of this system.
